Welcome to Riverwood LPS. I have been in this hobby since 1995. My first setup was a 55 gallon FOWLR aquarium with hang on filters. Pretty much got what the salt water expert at the local pet shop recommended. I started the tank with a mix of Damselfish $.99 each back in those days. A week later I got a pair of Ocellaris Clownfish (aka Nemo). A couple of years later I setup a 150 gallon aggressive fish tank. Fish like Triggers, lions, groupers, and large wrasses.

In the early 2000’s I got in to soft corals with a 75 gallon soft coral tank. Just a mix of different softies, mushrooms, and small reef fish. In the late 2000’s tried my hand at SPS corals. I could keep them alive, but not very colorful. I went back to FOWLR. In 2020 I got into LPS corals and haven’t looked back. I had a 34 gallon rimless tank with Radions. 2022 I upgraded to a 80 gallon rimless and switched to the Sky lights. In 2023 I upgraded to a 235 gallon Planet Aquariums tank with Sky lights.
